Generate future date based on past date and day

Hi all,

Please see attached.

What I would like to do (via vba, as this is part of a bigger task) is autopopulate column D with the cloest date, matching the day in column C and using the date in column B, for the following year.

So, using the attached as an example, the closest Thursday to 01/09/12 is 30/08/12.

I'd be glad of any help with the code to autofill column D.
