Restrict Writing Access To Excel Spreadsheet

    Hello,

I currently have a macro-enabled excel workbook, and I have it where a user can input data from a form. Currently the user can view where the data goes, and manipulate the data.

Is there a way to make the "Data" spreadsheet viewable only, but allowing the user to input data from the form?

    Thanks for the help!

    Hi, saucey,

there is no safe way in Excel (sad enough). You could protect the worksheet and let macros fill in but you have to set this on every opening of the workbook:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
goes into ThisWorkbook and should be executed each time the workbook is opened. Please change the name of the worksheet accordingly.
