adding dates based on date ranges

hi all,

im working on a spreadsheet that needs to check when a external item was last updated and return when it needs to be updated for.

i can get it to list the last update and details and that works find. i have it to run as a workbook open so it updates automatically.

however, different types need to be updated at different times. eg, some daily, weekly, monthly etc

at the moment it sets up like this:

i want to to look something like this:

sample1.jpg


so i need code to establish how often it needs updating, when it was last updated and then fill in the number of times it should be updated in between and list the dates (daily, weekly in dates. others in months)

i tried to just use a reference cell with =today()-'lastupdate' and then try and insert that many rows if its daily. but i dont know how to add the dates in....


wow, im not sure that makes sense but let me know if you got any ideas

It would help if you can supply a workbook with some data in it. It would be even better if you can have a tab with data as it is actually and another one with final results like you want it to be.
