Automatic email from excel based on due date

Hello all, just registered today and this is my first post to this site.
I have looked over many threads on many different forum sites, have not found exactly what I am looking for. I have posted on another site have had several hundred review but no reply, hoping to have better luck here.

Below is what I am looking for, and I have attached a sample sheet

we will receive emails from one of our departments indicating that, what we call a disclosure, occurs. It is our responsibility to do the research on the cause, and email back our findings. Each of these requests have a document date, information about the disclosure and a due date. We have started to create a log to help keep track of these disclosures so that we can respond by the due date. I would like to make this easier by having an email sent that has not been completed.

As you will see on the sheet, there are several data elements that are recorded. The fields that I want to have looked at to determine the criteria for sending the email is due date and email sent date. which is columns O & P. I would like to have an email sent automatically each day whether we open the sheet or not, that has a due date but not a date in the email sent column P.

I want that email to go to several people that captures the following message.

in the subject line to say "You have a disclosure that is due that has not been responded to"

body of the email should be "Disclosure # [ From column A for all rows that have a due date but no email sent date ] that is due in x days [ this should be due date - todays date] click here [link to where spreadsheet is kept] to review the disclosure and respond" If the date is past due the message should say that "is x days overdue" instead of "due in x days"

the email should list all rows that have a due date but not an email sent date

Again, if possible I would like this email sent regardless of whether or not the sheet is opened on a daily basis.

My apologies if I did not phrase the request according to standard practice, I am new to posting.

I would appreciate any assistance, and if you need further clarification please don't hesitate to ask.

I hope i have better luck

    Hi AmishJPatel!
I noticed you didn't get an answer here
    And welcome to the forum.

So tell me about your question. You want this action to look if the e.mail has been sent or not every time you open the workbook? Or do you want like a button that you press when ever you want?

Thank you for your response. I already can do the coding to have a button placed that can then send the email, what I am looking for is for the email to be sent automatically without having to open the document.
