Automatic input value into pop up input box

    Hello everyone....
is there any syntax to automatically input a value into pops up input box ?

my case is quite like this :
there is one condition that trigger a pop up input box (actually for password), and i need it to be automatically filled and then automatically press OK...
the other condition, will also trigger the same pop up input box, but i want it to be filled manually....
i need to add some syntax on the first condition, but i have no clue...

    can you help me ?
or any other idea for this problem ?
(using default values on input box won`t work)

    Thanx =)

    Hello billy_ti06,

    Welcome to the Forum!

Is this popup triggered by code you have in the workbook or from a different program? If you have a workbook then you should post it.

    To Attach a File:
    1. Click on Go Advanced
    2. In the frame Attach Files you will see the button Manage Attachments
    3. Click the button.
    4. A new window will open titled Manage Attachments - Excel Forum.
    5. Click the Browse... button to locate your file for uploading.
    6. This will open a new window File Upload.
    7. Once you have located the file to upload click the Open button. This window will close.
    8. You are now back in the Manage Attachments - Excel Forum window.
    9. Click the Upload button and wait until the file has uploaded.
    10. Close the window and then click Submit.
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

    Remember To Do the Following....

Re: Automatic input value into pop up input box

    Oke...Thanx for the help... =)

    here is the file =
    Quit Problem.xlsm

my current case is that i want excel to prompt a password when we hit the "X" (close) button..
and instead of quitting by X button, we can use a macro button (named "Quit")

Please Login or Register to view this content.

the problem is that the second macro will trigger the first macro, then pop up password prompt window....
i was thinking about a syntax that can automatically input the value into the input box, so that i can write it after "Application.Quit"
    is there any ?
or any other idea on this problem ?

    Thanx so much =)
