Insert Values Only b/c of conditional formatting

I am attempting to cut rows of data from one sheet "Data2" and insert into another sheet "Check List"
The problem is that I have conditional formatting on "Check List" sheet. When I insert rows of data into "Check List" sheet is screws up my conditional formatting.

Is there a work around this? Speical Paste Values Only?

Hello nahge123,

I could not replicate your "Problem". I have even changed your code as per the attached WorkBook, and everything works fine without messing up any Conditional Formatting.

I think the problem might be with how you have set-up ,or formulated your Conditional Formatting.

I am highlighting rows based on values in a particular column. I did not do the conditional formatting in VBA rather used the Conditional Formatting under tab home.

Here is a copy of the sheet. It will conditional format on Check List. But when I insert new data, it throws conditional formatting out of wack. Should be highlighting rows based on values in columns.

How do you insert new data and where, so that it throws conditional formatting out of wack ?

Do you perharps insert new rows?

Your CF Formulas will only respond if you enter "Problem" in Column C, "Work" in Column K and so on. The Program does exactly that.

I'm sorry when I look at it closer what I believe is causing the error is that I have three blank columns "A,B,C". So when the new data is inserted it is shifting the rows D:AZ and not column "A,B,C". How do I insert and shift all rows down even the blanks in column "A,B,C"?

Also if you the module "hit the button" a couple of time the conditional formation "applies to" is changing. Check the "applies to" prior to running the code. Then check afterwards. Different.

Not sure if it is supposed to work that way or not. Extremely new to VBA.

Hello nahge123,

It is just a matter of getting the "Ducks in a row", otherwise they will be quacking all over. In the attached WorkBook, I have changed the "Applies" to parameters in your Conditional Formatting (I have not changed N to Q though, you can do that bit), and adjusted the VBA Code so as not to interfere with the blank Columns A,B & C.
