    ADO, Excel, SQL Express 2008

    Hi folks,

    I've installed SQL Server Express 2008 R2.
    The Server Security options is Windows Authentication.
    My Excel is Excel 2003 (SP 3)


    My Server Name is ESCRIT and my databse is DB

    It doen't works (I've tried to search a right connection string in Internet but nothing works)

    I've found my error.

    The right connection string is

    Where Escrit is the Server Name (The top name in SQL Server Management Studio and the @@ServerName variable), DB is my database name and SSPI has the same meaning of TRUE.

    Based on your last post it seems that you solved your issue on your own but you haven't marked your thread as SOLVED. I'll do that for you now but please keep in mind for your future threads that Rule #9 requires you to do that yourself.     Sorry, I didn't notice the "Thread Tool" menu.
    It doesn't ever happen again.
