Using images as a variable

Hi,

I have been tasked to generate an output with images
that change considering what time of work is being
preformed. I ceated 8 Icons for this project. In a
cell I want the user to type the Icon name and then
have the image of that Icon be generated in another cell.

Is this possible, and please understand altho I am a programmer,
I am not up to speed with VB, so please be detailed oriented.
