Red face copying specific certain column data based on cell/column value to another sheet

    Hi all,

i'm trying to get a macro going that will consolidate a bunch of data for me.

    my example:

i have information in sheet labelled "Jan"

now let's say there's around 5 columns and 5 rows

    e.g.

    A B C D E
    A B C D X
    A B C D E
    A B C D Y
    A B C D E

now what i want to do is grab values for column 1, 2, and 3 where the 5th column is not "E" and then load them into another sheet named "Summary"

so the output in "Summary" tab will look something like this:

    A B C X
    A B C Y

Hopefully that's clear enough. Appreciate any help i can get on this!

    arctic7,

    Welcome to the forum.

We can not tell what cells, rows, columns your raw data is in, in worksheet Jan.

And we can not tell what cells, rows, columns, your data will go into in worksheet Summary.

Can you post the raw data worksheet Jan, and, post the worksheet Summary results (manually formatted by you) that you are looking for?

To post your data, you can download and install one of the following two programs:
    Excel Jeanie
    MrExcel HTML Maker

Or, when using Internet Explorer, just put borders around your data in Excel and copy those cells into your post.

If you are not able to give us screenshots:
You can upload your workbook to Box Net,

    sensitive data scrubbed/removed/changed

    mark the workbook for sharing
and provide us with a link to your workbook.

thanks for the replies, it's probably easier if i upload the raw file:

    https://www.box.com/s/s4j2hx5epyrnlvb5ei0v

basically i have the months tabs Jan Feb and Mar and so on, for any rows which has values in the L column, i need to grab the column C and D data and move it into the Summary tab under the corresponding months section.

so for example if row 17, column L has data, then the descriptions in column C and D and the amount in column L will be copied to the Summary tab.

Remove all merging cells in the sheets.
