color bars based on value

I have a bar chart (vertical) and the y-axis is in %s Now I want to color the bars/columns based on % ranges:

RED 90-100
ORANGE 80-90
YELLOW 50-80
GREEN 30-50
BLUE 0-30

Could you please upload a file with an example? It makes it much easier to help you.

This doesn't sound like a VBA issue though. If I'm understanding you correctly you just want to change the chart options to display different colors at different levels - correct?

Click go advanced at the bottom of the reply box.

Then find the attachments button. Find, select, and upload your file.

If you need more in depth instructions let me know and I'll write some up for you.

I think this will do what you need it to do.

Using this link as a reference I created new columns for the different levels.

Then I applied the different colors to the different columns of information.

You can use the attached file and the link above and you should be able to figure everything out.
