vb to insert blank sheet over old

Hi ALL, I have searched around, but can't find what I want.

Say I have a worksheet that has been altered with data, formulas, row & column height and width changes etc. If I just delete the data, or try to paste a blank sheet over, the row & column changes do not go back to original state. So I want to write a macro and assign to a QAT button, that would insert a blank sheet in its original state over the one I am currently working on. So I don't have to use specific sheet names in the request.

    Any help would be appreciated

What if you click in upper left corner on the intersection of the numbers of the rows and the letters of the columns and then from the menu Edit you choose Delete.
