Macro to Insert Blank Line and Sum Above Lines

    Hi everyone,

I am very VERY new to VBA so hopefully I have set this up appropriately.

I am trying to create a macro that inserts a blank row within a set of data after the data group changes and then sums the values in a different column based on the data group which exists above the blank row.

Please see the attached for an example.

I have no idea if this is possible but it would make my life infinitely easier if it is.

    Many thanks!

If you go to Ribbon, there is a function called SubTotal. You can use that.

PS: Change the criteria from Color to 1. Didn't realize you subtotal by item #. I thought it was by color.

Thank you so much! I can't believe I overlooked something so simple.
