Need Vb script for extracting datas from one excel and update in the another excel

I am in need of creating macro for extracting data from one excel and update in the another excel. I tried my level best but i am not able to do it to get the expected result.

Can anyone have the script kindly forward it to me.

Okay but no information about the data, what should be taken by which criteria, where it has to be put will certainly not bring a solution to your problem.

Please attach a workbook with some sample data and explain where to place it in which workbook and if that workbook is open and where you want the macro to be placed (Start and Finsih sheets although they will be placed in two workbooks or attach two workbooks - just as you like).

Neither tells us what you tried, which code you had for experiment nor about how and where to place the data.
