I'd like to do the same thing, basically, as what was posted in JBeaucaire's 1st post [in this thread]. However, if I have multiple rows that should copy to the same file, how can I loop and break based on changes in column a? For example: all COX350 lines and all EAT100 lines should be written to their own files individual files.

COX350 426
COX350 430 1
COX350 433 4
COX350 434 3
EAT100 108 20
EAT100 120 0
EAT100 130 1
EAT100 135 6
