Saving and closing workbook after idle time

I am trying to add code to my workbook so that after a certain period of idle time, the workbook autosaves and closes. I am using the code from the following post:

The problem I am having with the code is that it automatically saves/closes after the allotted time regardless of activity. I cannot seem to do anything in my workbook that keeps it open. Any thoughts? Thanks.
