Need to have automated emails sent from excell

Hello All I'm a first timer here...I must say that I have seen interaction throughout this website of some very talented people. I am an EE but with a concentration in Energy and Power Systems, and was unaware of the functionality now available in Excel.

I would like to insert a MACRO into excel that sends an automated email to recipients upon expiration dates, and without having to open the excel file. Please find attached document, and any and all help would be very much appreciated, and newly fascinating.
