Save Backup copy on Workbook Exit

Hi,

I have a hair pulling issue that is confusing me and I aapreciate some feedback.

I have a number of workbooks that use the same code on saving a backup on exiting, most of these work but on some it does not
and bugger if I know why..

eliminate row On Error Resume Next and check errors

Hi,

Even if that is removed no difference.

Just a note to help solutions..

If I run Auto Save direct from module it works fine,, but when executed thru workbook close it does not work.
I have put a stop mark to follow code thru , it goes right thru but does not save a backup.

No errors show either..

Made no difference. I notice some workbooks are saving and others not..Still a grey area..
