Range of data to a list

    Hi All,

This is a challenge I have been faced with for a while. A machine at work produces data in a .csv file in tables 8x12 (A-H:1-12) We have to then manually order these A1:H1, A2:H2, A3:H3 etc so the 96 value in the table are now in a list 96 values long. the next 8x12 table needs to be in the column nexst to the previous table and so on until all the tables are in list form.

We usually have more than one table at a time (upto 48) so doing this without a macro is really painful.

Hopefully some one can help me with the VBscript.

    Kind Regards in advanced

    Chris

Re: Range of data to a list

It would probably be easier to do it when importing. Is this one CSV file or more then one? And can you show how you want it look look after macro is ran?
    Thanks,
    Mike

Re: Range of data to a list

    Hi mike7952

I have re-attached an example from last week. The first tab is the raw data loaded into excel from the .csv produced by the machine. It looks confusing but this is where I need to extract the data from thetable.
The second tab is the list format we are required to present our data in. From this we go onto create multiple graphs.
All the tables come in one .CSV file
This site wont allow me to upload the original RawData.csv as the file type is invalid but i have changed the extention to .txt.

    Hope this help

see if this will work for you

Note change "Original data copied from .CSV" sheet to "RawData". Also this dosent import it just manipulates the imported csv data.
