    Deleting duplicate rows in table

I'm trying to delete rows with a duplicate value in one column from a table. The only way I can see to do it is to convert the table to a range, delete the rows, and then recreate the table. This works fine but the recreated table won't expand when new rows are added. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks Alan. That's really helpful and works a treat. The only issue I have is one of speed, which is why I was going down the autofilter route. For my application , I really need a routine that runs faster than I think the loop approach can offer.
