Macro that makes a custom footer (left and center section) - problem

    Hi,

My macro cannot set up a custom footer, everytime I run it, it makes && in a center section. But my intention was to insert a file name in a left section and sheet name in center section (and that`s what I`m doing while recording a macro). What is the reason behind that?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Ok, I found a solution under that link:

Here is the description of the method that I used:
The problem was with the "application.printcommunication = false" and "application.printcommunication = true" lines. These are new to 2010. In fact, when you try to run a macro with this code in 2007, it doesn't work. I found that by deleting all of these "printcommunication" lines, the macro works just fine. A bit of a pain but not the end of the world. Hope this helps.

Hope it will help others that have the same problem, cheers
