Macro to group and separate raw data

I am looking for a was to reduce the time I spend formating data. As you can see in the example I attached my instrumentation exports data sets on top of each other (with the exception that the real data is hundreds of data points). What I would like to do is take each data set and put them on individual sheets. I'm not quite sure how to do that...

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!!

    ArtB,

    Welcome to the Excel Forum.

Your worksheet O_all contains three groups:
    Dataset O 1s:2(Spot_3_dark)
    Dataset O 1s:9(Spot_3_dark)
    Dataset O 1s:3(Spot_2_white)

What will the naming convention be for each worksheet?

    Group:
    Dataset O 1s:2(Spot_3_dark)
    Worksheet name?.....
    Have a great day,

I have a similar problem except that my raw data has more than 170 groups. How do I create this macro? Should I copy/paste the macro above into the macro creator in my Excel 2010?
