    Re: alternate subtraction

    Hi contaminated,

I have checked that column G and H results are adding from above table and are showing in column G in below table .. but what happened to row 11 and 12 as this is not fitting in there and I need to know why G22 and G23 are 39 and 0 whereas as per the trend they should be 40 and 1 respectively... ?? thanks.

    Re: alternate subtraction

    Firs thanks for reply

Want to say that there is will be only one table. For example I had 8 (F7) apples and then I sold 7(G7) of them. Now I have 1 (H7) apple

Then you ask why G23 is 39. Because I've sold 68 apples.

    The subtraction starts from beginning

Please Login or Register to view this content.
    Thus, Item # 1 8 7 1 is results to Item # 1 8 8 0 because until today I sold 7 apples and now I sell the last apple form this item. Then 7+1 = 8. So from 68 new apples I sold 1. Remains 67.

Then cell goes dow and see that it has value 24. 24+24 = 48 that means that I sold all 24 apples from that case. 67-24=43
Then procedure must ignore next row bucause there is 0
    Then cell see value 4 in H10. 10+4=14 (G21). 43 - 4 = 39
Then from 40 (F11) new apples I sell 39 (G22). Now I have 1 apple from that case.
And procedure ends because all 68 apples are sold

    Hope I could explain
