    Having a problem with VLOOKUP and need an extra pair of eyes.

    Not really sure whats wrong. Its hard for me to explain it. VLOOKUP only populates data correctly from the first instance of the formula. Attached a test document that shows what I'm looking at. Pull a "spell" from the list and the following cells should populate with the spells statistics. I'm not super familiar with Excel macros so I'm probably missing something stupid.

    Hi dilipandey,

    Thanks that works. Quick question though. Why does it work lol, or better question why was my original macro only working for the "cost" column. I only ask because I'm trying to lean how this all works. Thanks again for your quick response!

    Hi poisontoast,

    Earlier it was not working because you have not followed the syntax of vlookup correctly..
    Also, there is no macro only formulas are used there.
