Looking for a faster way to cut and paste

I am looking for a way to quickly cut and paste values from one cell to another... faster than ctrl+x ctrl+v.

Is there a way to have script or macro that you can turn on or off, and when activated you can single click any cell to cut and then single click or if easier, double click another cell to paste?

    Thanks!

Name both areas: the source area and the destination area,,,

Than record a macro, and got to the source and paste (or past speacial etc) into the destination,,,stop recording...

enter design mode and add a button and assign your new macro you just recorded,,,

    Have fun,,

Make a macro to "copy" current selection,,,and one to "paste"...add them to buttons on your sheet

You can try something like this:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
Make sure you put the code in the Sheet module where you will be doing the cutting and pasting.

An issue with this is that it fixes your cut range to A1:A10 and your paste range to B1:10. You can edit these to fit your needs.

Please see the attached workbook. I have created two Command Buttons and added some code to make it so you can turn on and off the functionality with the click of a button.

Nice, that's pretty cool... I can definitely work with that!
