manipulate embedded excel workbook in Powerpoint

I am pretty new to VBA and cant seem to figure out how to do what seems like a simple task.

basically i made a tool in excel that takes in some values from a userform and updates a worksheet with some data and a graph. Now i want to embed that worksheet in a powerpoint presentation. so Inserted the workbook as an object into a slide. remade the userform to be based out of the powerpoint and be activated by a command button. Now i cant seem to figure out how to pass the inputs from a userform into the excel workbook that is embedded into the slide.

any insight into this would be greatly appreciated.

PS im in office 2007
