Using Value of a Cell on a different sheet in .formula

Hello,

I have a problem using a the value of a cell which is on a different worksheet, i.e the Worksheet "Results5".

here is basically what i try to do

The error I get is:
"Application defined or object defined error"

What am I doing wrong?

unfortunately the first option doesn't work, excel is asking me for an input
also i need to do it in a loop as in my program i am writing first the values in column 3 and than placing it in the formula and finally solving
it with the solver.

Any other ideas?

Looking at the OP's formula should you not include "case_n" in your formula?

@ Alf: I tried to include case_n. I am trying to copy a value from the Sheet Input5 to Results5 into a formula. Could you please explain further what you mean?

@ maxifischer: Looking at your code you are as you say trying to copy a value from sheet "Input5" whereas the code from mikerickson to me looks like it copies a value from a sheet named just "Input"
