    Printing issue... Excel 2007

    Good morning to all,
Is there a way to print sheets with conditions? Example: I have my worksheet 1 that I don't need to print column H, I and J, so i'm hidding them everytime to be able to print my information then I need to unhide them everytime.

Is there a way that I could set up a VB code, or is this an option, that I could print but without these columns.

Plus: I have my worksheet protected /without a password. I don't know if this is an issue.

    Thank you so much.

Set the print area; it does not have to be contigous. E.g. Select the left column block you want, hold down ctrl and select the others. Set the print area. Bob's your unle.

    Thank you Brynbaker,
Only problem with that method is that you cannot have merged cells. If I need to print the area of A1 to G30 then from K1 to L30 it will:

    1) Grab the merged cells to print as it would normal.
    2) If the merged cells are taken off, it will separate the workbook in two pages.

At the present moment I am hiding H1 to J30 so that it will print A1 to G30 then from K1 to L30 on a full page 8’5 x 14 on a Landscape. But then after, I need to unhide the information. I know this sounds lazy, but this is not for me. It’s for the users that do not know how to manipulate excel what so ever. Trying to facilitate the tasks, for the users.

I was not suggesting merged cells, but are correct it splits into two pages.Silly program.
You can provide a macro but it has to be started by the user; there is not a Before_Print event to help, so it needs a button or similar to do the hide, unhide, print. e.g.

So there is an event; that makes it simple (it's reassuring to have so many 'looking over your shoulder' to correct errors).
