save without prompt and close the workbook at the same time

I want the workbook to be saved and closed at the same time WITHOUT any prompts. Is this possible?
I'm a newbie and can't find the right code.
Your help is much appreciated (soory for my poor english).

    Thanks, this does the trick.
Additional question: same situation but then Excel must be closed. I tried Application.Quit but nothing happens:-(

is the proper way to go.

Please attach the workbook where application.quit doesnt do the job and I'll be glad to look into it.
