Read & Write textbox

Hi all
3rd time lucky i hope.

Having got so far with my little project i now need to to take the text box "colour" and be able to read the data in there from the database, however also have the ability to change the text within the textbox, and update the database accordingly.

anyone have any ideas - virtual beers for anyone who can help!
