Lotus Notes HotSpot Buttons created through VB

I am trying to send out an e-mail through Lotus Notes through an Excel macro. The purpose of the e-mail is to have the receiver indicate Approve or Disapprove from the e-mail using a Hotspot Button. So far, I've been able to send the e-mail with the attachment successfully, but I cannot figure out how to create the hotspot buttons in the e-mail. Any ideas? I am complete newbie to VB so if you do have a suggestion, please don't assume I know what all the lingo/acronyms/etc means. Thanks.

Thanks for your help. I got this code to work but it appears that it's just for a hyperlink. Is there a way to modify it to create a hotspot [U]button[U]? Or is there a way to create the hyperlink in such a way that clicking on the hyperlink automatically generates an e-mail back to the sender?

Yes, sorry that code is just for a Hotspot link, not a Hotspot Button. I don't think a hyperlink can generate an email back to the sender, so you'll need to create a Hotspot Button, which I think can generate the email. I've never created code for a Hotspot button, so it may take me some time to write something.

Search for something like LotusScript hotspot button if you want to have a go yourself - most available code will be written in LotusScript, which can be easily converted to VBA, for example Append a Button to a Rich Text Field - http://www.nsftools.com/tips/NotesTi...richtextbutton.
