Spread hours out evenly (or close to) over employees executing tasks in a WBS.

    Hello,

I am trying to create an Excel based Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) that will automatically spread total hours out evenly amongst employee's and tasks in the WBS. I have come up with the attached spreadsheet with the help of other forums and websites. It currently allows me to type in the tasks of the WBS and then once finished, I click the number tasks button and it numbers the tasks for me based on excel indentation. Once I have completed that portion, and I have a macro number the tasks, I would like to take the total estimated annual hours to complete all of the tasks in the WBS (which comes from another sheet in my workbook), let's say 6,430 hours for the year, and divide them amongst the sub-tasks on my WBS. The Main tasks should be a simple sum of each of the related subtasks, after the distribution function/code/macro does it's magic. The other two buttons on the sheet are simply so users can add rows and unhide other employees once the sheet is protected.
