Excel Programming for XML file

Hello,

I have a report to do and it has to be submitted in XML form to another agency outside our business. They have given me a schema and lots of other information.

My problem is the I am an XML rookie. I am thinking that I can use Excel (2007) and vba to get all the data and create the xml file. I could just go with VB also but like the ability of Excel to do this for me.

I need some help getting started and making it work.

I was hoping for more help. I have report sales and taxes to my state. They have provided me with a schema for the report but it has to be in XML format. I can get all the data from my databases using SQL and was planning on making the SQL query in VBA inside the Excel file. Then it would just run and I would get the report each month.
