Hi All,
I started this in another folder but have had very little luck. I think it requires a VBA solution.
In Column B (from B2 down), I have a list of SOP ID's SOP-001
SPEC-425
SOP-00123
etc.
These documents are all located in a single folder (i.e. ("C:UserschemistbDocuments"), only the most recent revision will be there. However, the file name will also include the revision # and possibly a date.SOP-001 Rev 7.3 11-12-2012
SPEC-425 Rev23.9 1-9-2011
etc.
So the part in Column B will always be the string before the blank. I want to create in column I, a hyperlink in each row to the document so I can open the files themselves with a click of the mouse. I cannot use Add-ins and haven't been able to figure out a way to do it with wildcards. Thanks for all input.
