Re: Extract data into summary sheet

    @ oeldere,

    Very Sorry,

I am already fast asleep. Scratch This Nonsense Below.

I am no expert either, but what I have gathered from the "Consolidation" Sheet is that Column A lists the Sheet Name/s. Column B holds the Name/s form all the other sheets, and Column C the "Time".

Run the two sheets simultaniously, and compare the difference.

    Or am I wrong.

The headers In Columns A to C where out of Line, that's all.

Re: Extract data into summary sheet

The header are not gathered with the macro, so if I run both macro's I get the same result (but maybe I wrong, and in that case please correct me)

Re: Extract data into summary sheet

This macro work to consolidates the date to the Consolidated tab. But I am looking for a macro to get the values that I enter each tab "Vijay" and "anand" should automatically go into the consolidate tab also after the last row.

For example If I enter name and created time in "Vijay" tab it should also automatically populate in the consolidated tab.

    Please help.

Re: Extract data into summary sheet

Can we do this without push button. As soon I enter the data in the "Vijay" and "Anand" tab it should come to Consolidated tab. Something we can do through worksheet change or selection change?

    Please help

Re: Extract data into summary sheet

Probably it can, but is it so much trouble to push a button?

I can't help you enough with an worksheet change event.

I also think it slows the performance of the sheet (but maybe i'm wrong about that).

    @ oeldere,

You are NOT wrong about that.

    @vijanand1279,

The way your Cosolidation Sheet is set up to display all Sheets and any changes to those Sheets, grouped together in Column A, and adjacent Columns, is tricky already as it is. I believe the "Push Button" option oeldere has provided you with, is the best solution in this case.

Imagine you have, say just 100 Rows of Data on every other Sheet, besides the Consolidation Sheet, for every change you make in only one Cell in any of the other Sheets, the System will have to go through more than 3600 Cell calculations with EACH ONE CELL CHANGE EVERYTIME YOU ENTER OR DELETE DATA.

And that is looking only at two Sheets with 100 Rows of Data each. If you add more Sheets, and/or the number of rows increases to 1000 Rows, your System will probably complete one change in about 30 minutes.

Is it possible to add the details in a form that automatically come to the spreadsheet tab after the last row every time when an new entry is entered.?

Re: Extract data into summary sheet

Once you run a macro command. it should open a form with the fields to be saved in the consolidated spreadsheet after the last row. You could use the same spreadsheet and ignore all the sheets other than consolidated...

Re: Extract data into summary sheet

I will only enter in D6 for names and D8 for Created time; after I enter both the values it should go to the consolidated sheet after the last row and both the above fields should get cleared. Can we try this with push button. So that after entering both the fields once the push button is hit the fields should get into the consolidated sheet.

Is there a specific reason you want it this way?

Re: Extract data into summary sheet

This will help to enter the data without disturbing the consolidated tab. The users will be using only "Enter Here" tab. This is for internal security that one should not view or disturb the data in "consolidated" tab.
