Copy-Paste Macro of 3 columns from multiple excel files into one summary file

Hello ive been cracking my head over this work problem:

There are about 960 excel files, all with different names, of all of these I need to extract 3 columns (they are all standard files so the columns are in the same place).
I need to build a macro so that I copy these 3 columns and paste them into one summary excel file. Sounds simple I know but Ive been having trouble
with the Worksheet_Activate() or with Workbook_Open()

please any code that might help me? Thanks

Plz provide example workbook then its more easy to solve ur query.

as per my understand - that all 960 excel files will thr in specifed folder right and u want to copy only 3 columns from each files and paste in new workbook everytime when ever u run the macro right.

Just give one workbook from that 960 sheets and one more thing in that all 960 sheets headers are same right.

    Thanks - Naveed.
