Hi all!
As stated in the title, I am fairly new to macros thus I apologize for the lack of terminology etc used in this thread.
I have attached two files contained in the ZIP folder. One called "Personnel (All Fields)" which contains my work so far and one called "Personnel" which only contains conditional formatting (Works when data is added to A3 down, but disregard this document for now)
The sheet "timeware Personnel Data" on the document "Personnel (All Fields)" is where information is exported directly to from my companies software, and the "Personnel (All Fields)" sheet is where I am displaying the data in a pleasing manner. This data is extremely dynamic. One customer might only have 5 employees, while another has over 7000!
I had thought it finished, as to be fair it does exactly what I want (add anything to row 44A onwards, and the background/border extends with the reference). But now, after looking closer I came to find that the file itself is too large for the installation package for my companies software. *gasp*
So I have come to the conclusion that we need a fill down macro, but how I go about this eludes me.
I need a macro that will filldown all the data (A3:CM3) and stop when the referenced data in the "timeware Personnel Data" stops. It needs to also be prepared to draw data from 20,000 different rows should the export add it into the source sheet.
Any help is greatly appreciated, and I do want to learn from this so any explanations/guidance would be amazing!
Also note, I am due to head home from work in 50 minutes so I won't be able to reply until tomorrow morning (UK) after 5pm
