Thumbs up Open multiple instances of Excel

I use 3 monitors at work and many times have 2 or more workbooks open at once. I can put 2 workbooks in 1 Excel program, stretch them between 2 screens, and split them. I'd like to be able to open 2 instances of Excel so that one would not be connected to the other at all. I can do that from Windows, however; I need to be able to open a new instance of Excel from within a macro.

I'm at home right now, so will have to wait until Monday to try it. I have another, expanded question about this. Can I open that second instance with a workbook assigned to it. In other words, open a new workbook in a seperate Excel instance?
