PivotTable with Upper & Lower case

Hi All,

I am not getting correct result when I am doing Pivot Table. My data in Row value mixed with upper case and lower case.
For example I have the ID like 0032000000th8q1 and 0032000000th8Q1. As you see the these are the same Ids but only Q is in Upper and lowercase

when I am creating pivot table I am getting the count 2 but it should show me like below:

0032000000th8q1 1
0032000000th8Q1 1

I know PivotTables are not case sensitive but i need the result. can I apply macro? If I get the count it will help me a lot

Please help!

Suggest you to use a helper column may be a serial number type. See the attached file :-

Thanks for your help. I have 44,000 thousands data. How do u I mark the data like 1, 2,2,1,3,4? is there any other way?

to mark the data like 1,2,2, you just need to enter the formula as I shown in helper column and drag it down.. simple ..

After this, these serial numbers will act as an data IDs which can be used in pivot as I shown.
