Converting workbook with Macro to a template causes the Macro to stop working

I have an excel 2010 workbook that contains macros. This is a workbook that we developed for doing estimates. I need to convert the workbook to a template, but when I do, some of the macros don't work. Is there something special I need to do so the macro works when openned as a template?

    Thank you.

Based on the information provided, it is difficult to generalise.

"some of the macros don't work" means what exactly? What don't they do that they should? What do they do that they shouldn't? Is there an error message? Does Excel crash?

I'd suggest you upload a sample workbook and code.

Re: Converting workbook with Macro to a template causes the Macro to stop working

I have uploaded a copy of the workbook I am using. This workbook is used to do estimates for a product line we sell. There are several Tabs (Parts 1 - 5, ignore the others) which complete the estimate. The workbook contains several different macros. The worksheet that does most of the work is called "Surehands Order Form Part 2". This is an order sheet that is completed by the sales rep. There is a Macro called "AddendumA" (see the button on the top right on the worksheet, this is how the user runs the macro). This macro was built for me by someone else since I do not have VBA experience. The problem I am having is that this macro keeps breaking. It is suppose to go through the order sheet, and select ONLY those rows that have 1 or more in the QTY field. It is then suppose to copy just those items, open a new worksheet called "AddendumA" and then copy the data onto that worksheet. This information constitutes the items selected on the order form. We add this to our proposals as "AdendumA". When it works, it works great, but now, it is copying the entire order form; not just the rows that have QTY. And I have no clue what causes this to break. Locking and unlocking the sheet has caused problems (the sheet has to be locked) and then saving it as a template caused problems. And I am not doing anything to the Order Form other than locking and unlocking! So I'm just about at the end of my rope. The person who wrote the original Macro is absolutely no help! So if anyone can help me with this mess I would be eternally grateful!
