Code works in Windows excel 2003 and 2010 but crashes in Mac excel 2011

    Hi all,

I am struggling to find the reason why these 2 bits of code crash in excel 2011 on the mac, both work fine in excel 2003 and 2010 on Windows.

The first piece of code simply deletes all buttons on a chart, it crashes on the For Each Shape In .Shapes line, with the error: The index into the specified collection is out of bounds

The second piece of code is called when you click on a button on the chart, it will open an associated powerpoint file. It is crashing on the first line with the error: The item with the specified name wasn't found.
The weird thing is that when I hover over Application.Caller it shows the correct value

Any help would be much appreciated,
