    Macro Error using Office for MAC 2011 running Excel Files and Macro's Created on PC Excel

    i just purchased a MacBook Air and installed Office for MAC. the only purpose for purchasing it was that it was light and fast vs anything that was avail for the PC and would be used to support any data collection that was need to be done if and when i travel

    right now i'm unable to get any of the external macro to work. these are one which grab xml data off a web site than puts that info into specific cols of large spreadsheets that i have

    right now im getting a Run-Time error 438 Object doesnt support this Porperty or Method. when i got to debug the error line is

    PreserveFormatting = True

    i keep all my key files on dropbox so that i can access them from anywhere. i need for all these files to be the same and cant have a diff version for the mac vs the PC. if no options to resolve this is avail, i'll just return the air book as that was a condition of my purchase from apple

    would appreciate any input.

    the internal macro run w/o any prob (the ones that just do analysis of various data etc

    tks in advance

    attached is the actual excel file that works perfect on a Win7 64bit machine that i'm trying to run on the MacBook Air

    the macro can be either ran from one of the buttons or directly using the run option as well. to start the process you would need to put an x into one of the games to get the data for it. i just normally put an x into all of them and get it for every game the day before. to run the get schedule you need to enter the date in the following format 11/25/12 which would indicate that you want all the cbb div 1 schedule games and all the opening lines

    key is to get them to run on the mac as well as the pc w/o any specific changes to one w/o applying it to both to keep them the same
