Breaking out tabs of a workbook and keeping the links into individual workbooks

    Hello,

I have an issue where I need to break out a worksheet with 30 tabs, each with a link to the first tab (Tab A). Is there a way to break out the tabs into individual workbooks each with Tab A attached (each workbook would have two tabs).

Thanks for your help, I'm still very green to Macros.

'This routine is designed such that "Tab A" is active
'and the new workbooks are to be created in the same folder as "Tab A"

'of course if the "Master" sheet isn't really named "Tab A" - you'll need to change that

Thanks, xladept, but I continue to have an error that reads "Run-time error: 438".

Is there additional information needed to complete the routine?

    Thanks again.

Single step through the routine by hitting the F8 key and see if the path already has the backslash in it or if there are any other differences - is the name of your master tab actually "Tab A" and are you running it with that tab activated???

    I found it:
