Have you tried googling for - newton raphson excel? There seem to be several results which will help you.

The Newton Raphson method is also already programmed into the Goal Seek/Solver utilities that come with Excel. Depending on why you are asking, you may be able to use one of those utilities if you set your spreadsheet up correctly.

That is extremely surprising.
