Macro to COPY and PASTE VALUES for in columns based on the date

Hi All,

I have a spreadsheet which has numerous sheets to it, each sheet is a near replica of the other. Every day i have to copy and paste values for the data in the previous days column and turn the clumn grey.

I am trying to get my head around macros and VBA but i am struggling. I can not record the macro as every day the column i copy and paste moves over by one so the macro needs to be written based on a date trigger.

The data is in the same column in each sheet in the work book. A simplified version is attached.

I am sure there must be a simple solution but i am kind of clueless.

Any help would be greatfully received.

You have three similar sheets.What do you want with them? Which section, or sheet you wish to copy and where to?

Yes exactly. So basically tomorrow i would copy and paste special and turn grey todays data (column F) in sheet A, B and C.

In my actual sheet the data is different on each sheet but the principle is the same (row's always stay the same on each sheet for the same date, i.e. in this sheet 05/12/12 is in column F on each sheet).

So if this test sheet was scaled up so it had 20 sheets not 3, could you run a macro each day that locked down the data for the previous days data with one click? At the moment i go into every sheet and copy do the same every day, copy, paste values and turn grey...
