Error Message When open an excel file containing ActiveX control in a sheet

I have an excel files with VBA codes and contains activeX controls in sheet1. The files are in a network. When I open any of these files, I get an error message (see attached file). When a co-workers open the same file, it works like a charm without any error message. The only difference between me and them, I'm the one who does VBA programming and I programmed those files wondering if this has to do with my problem .
any help on this would be appreciated

try deleting all .exd files from your computer (with Office programs closed) and then try again. if that fails check if you have the same patches and updates as the other users-assuming you are all on 2010
