    Application - Defined or object defined error: excel 2003

    Hi,
    I have set up a macro on various computer (see below) which takes a copy of a template when a button is clicked on each computer. However I keep on getting an message saying "application-defined or object defined error".

    Although it does not stop the loading of the template on each pc it is still rather annoying. How do I alter the code below to prevent this.

    If I save a copy of the work book to my computer and then open it up the error message does not appear, so it has to be something to do with the code below. I hope that makes sense.

    Workbooks.Add Template:= _
    "X:\Shared Workbook\Emplas Excel Templates See Greg\Roof & Shaped Frame Prices.xlt"

    Thanks

    May be include an error trapping
    This assumes your code works, but keeps showing you an error message.
