formula to reference a sheet not created yet

hello all again, so Iam trying to enter a formula =IFERROR('[masterfile.xlsm]5-19'!$H$16,"") into a cumulative summary and i want to enter the formula for each date so the formula for the next date is =IFERROR('[masterfile.xlsm]5-20'!$H$16,"") however if i try to enter formula for all the dates i cant enter it into the formula bar because it come up with an error that says invalid reference how can i avoid this so that i can update all the formulas without creating the sheets for every day?


i will upload my docs so u can see what im trying to do. In cell G9 i enter =IFERROR('[masterfile.xlsm]5-20'!$H$16,"")
because it is the date 5-20 and i want it to reference the sheet named 5-20 in the other book which has not yet been created because it is not 5-20 obviously thanks for any help in advance i really appreciate it

BTW it all works if the date sheet is created i just dont want to go through and create all sheets

i dont believe that will solve my issue but thank you for giving it a shot i actually cant get that formula to work at all
