invalid reference error help

hello all again, so i m trying to use this formula =IFERROR('[masterfile.xlsm]5-19'!$H$16,"") to return a value from a daily workbook to my cumulative workbook. the issue is that when i try to adjust the formula to reflect the correct date and sheet (i.e. =IFERROR('[masterfile.xlsm]5-20'!$H$16,"")) i get a #REF error because the sheet is not created yet.

however i would like to adjust all the formulas now before the sheets are created so i can complete the project. Also the date sheets wont be created till the date that the date sheet is for. for example sheet 5-20 wont be created until 5-20 but i need the formulas to reference the sheet now.

i uploaded a portion of my project so u can see what i am trying to achieve. in cell G10 of "WB2" it needs to be
=IFERROR('[masterfile.xlsm]5-20'!$H$16,"") so that it will reference sheet named 5-20 in "masterfile" however 5-20 isnt created yet and i cant even insert that formula into the formula bar i get a error saying worksheet contains invalid reference. whish i would expect however i would like to at least have the formula in there so that when sheet 5-20 is created it will point there anyway to do this your help is greatly appreciated thanks a lot
