    What is wrong with this macro? I think it looks fine :(

    Hi, I keep getting "object defined error" when I run my macro.
    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    If I paste the formula =if(RC1<'Expt Plan'!.... into a cell in Excel, the formula works.
    If I run the code without the formula, eg,
    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    then the macro works.

    Why don't they work together??

    Can you post an example spreadsheet with the formula you want to use in the spreadsheet?

    But don't worry anyway because I just forgot to double my quotation marks!

    No, we meant the worksheet equivalent i.e. just as it would look in a cell.
