    Calendar control

    Hi guys

    I have two problems.
    1) I'm using microsoft date and time picker control 6.0 (sp6) but when i transfer my workbook to my friend's pc, the date and time picker does not appear. I realize his pc does not have the "mscomt" file (i dont remember that thing) but when i download that file and paste it to his system, it still doesnt show the date and time picker. some suggest to paste in the sysWOW but his pc doesnt have that file. so, what should i do to make it work?

    2) as a temporary solution until i figured out about the above problems, i want to use the calendar control. Is there any way to make the calendar control appear when a button clicked? and when i choose a date, it will transfer to a cell? just like the date and time picker function.

or you guys can suggest me a better ideas about the date and calendar.

    Thank you

    Hi,
it's not enough to copy the mscomt.ocx on your friends computer. you have to register it... From Developer tab -> Insert-> More controls (down right corner) -> Register Custom... and find the file on your friend's computer.

    Re: Calendar control

what does it mean that it can not find the file. from your post I get the impression that YOU download it to the system
when i download that file and paste it to his system
so you know where it is...

    Re: Calendar control

By the way, in my first post I said that the file is mscomt.dll. I checked that
    1. it's ocx file (I will edit my post)
    2. I'm using mscomct2.ocx. Are you sure about the file you downloaded?

check the file name. I think it is mscomct2.ocx, not mscomt
